About Us:
The entire purpose of this enterprise is to provide excellent, professional plumbing service. My name is Dustin Wallace, founder of Cool Plumbing and second generation plumber. My father, John Wallace, has over 40 years of experience in the plumbing trade and has trained many apprentices who went on to start their own companies. I myself was his apprentice and was fortunate to learn a tremendous amount from his vast experience. I graduated from the Plumbing Heating and Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Plumbing Apprentice program in 2015 and have been a licensed Journeyman Plumber since that time. In my 15 years of experience I not only had the privilege of learning from a Master Plumber, but also the insight to build on that knowledge and further develop my understanding of plumbing systems.
As for the name of the company, I personally believe that plumbing is pretty cool. Plumbing delivers safe, clean, drinkable water into our homes. It also helps keep us healthy by removing our waste in a sanitary manner. When everything is functioning correctly its smooth sailing. The many ways in which it all comes together to make a sanitary plumbing system is really cool.
Our Scope
While our work is primarily in residential service and repair, we do also perform remodels, whole house re-pipes, and light commercial work. Our scope is essentially anything you could imagine having to do with plumbing, for example the following:
-Sewer and drain maintenance and repairs
-Water pipe leak repairs
-Slab leak location and re-routing
-Faucet repairs and replacements
-Tankless water heaters
-Standard tank type water heater repairs and replacement
-Gas leak location and repair
-Pool gas line replacement
-Installation of new gas, waste, and water piping
-Backflow device maintenance and testing ****(not currently certified)
-Toilet installation and repair
In addition to our standard scope, we have knowledge and expertise in new developing plumbing technologies as well, including:
-Whole house smart water monitors
-Smart appliances (including toilets, faucets, showers, etc.)
-High efficiency heat pump water heaters
